DOC HANSON GOT SAVED LAST
NIGHT!
Old Doc Hanson got saved last
night,
Heaven and earth were all aglow.
Church bells were
ringing,
Angels were singing.
Such joy above and below.
The whole congregation prayed
for him,
With bowed heads and voices raised high.
He did not know,
He
was loved so.
This man, so modest and shy.
For such a long time, for so
many years,
Doc Hanson attended us all.
When we were sick,
He always
came quick.
Whether ill or in pain from a fall.
For each tiny baby
delivered,
Throughout the last thirty-five years.
Their very first
touch,
Was the old doc's clutch.
As he was met with their new baby
tears.
At dying men's beds he spent
many nights,
And many widows' shoulders were hugged.
This man of
compassion,
Truly impassioned.
Was respected and honored and loved.
When God made man in His own
image,
He had Doc Hanson in mind.
It was God's plan,
To send this
man.
As proof of His love for mankind.
Never a man more
tender,
Never a man more dear.
As full of love,
As angels
above.
This man that God had sent here.
So, for him to come down to the
altar,
At our closing hymn last night.
Bow his head before all,
As he
answered God's call.
Was indeed a most blessed sight.
Now, we all rejoice
together,
To welcome our Brother in Christ.
He has been hugged,
By the
Power above.
And will now share in Paradise!
